Deckonomicon is a pixel clique started by beelzebabe where anyone can draw 60x100 px cards for fun and collect them into their own deck. I was enamored by the idea because A) I like pixel art, B) I'm drawn to the theme of playing cards, and C) they're small artworks that are just limited enough size- and theme-wise to casually draw, similar to buttons!
Since I know of Balatro, I somewhat immediately knew I also wanted to have a satisfying tilt hover effect
