I feel sorry for taking so long and potentially seeming unfriendly. I had an unfinished answer laying around and didn't want to add this entry until I actually have an answer that I feel is good enough to publish (since I'd feared it might seem like I didn't really appreciate your comment if I didn't reply to it as I published it), but had this other fear of seeming ignorant of your entry if you saw that it was just commented out on this page and not really replied to.

With those personal ramblings aside, here are some more! Regarding your compliments, I was at first happy and then aversive (Probably due to a multitude of reasons like me overly attaching myself to any person complimenting me growing up and then starkly compensating by learning to automatically do the opposite and my inherent repulsion towards phrases such as "being a deep thinker"Such phrases seem like a generalization that kind of puts me on a higher pedestal than I actually feel like I'm on). Nevertheless, I still feel some warm, fuzzy feelings because of it and want to thank you for that!

Regarding the webring, I feel unsure about joining any webring. I kind of accidentally joined the MelonLand Surf webring as I primarily just made my account on the MelonLand Forums and set up my profile (and that automatically put me in there without me even knowing that it exists), and it doesn't feel like a webring per sé because of the lack of a widget you need to display on your website and the fact that there is no ordering where you have neighboring websites. Most "Real" webrings, from what I've seen, require some criteria to keep yourself being a part of it (the only problem here being that I'd need to update my website once a year or something. Most other stuff seems to be common sense stuff about extreme edge cases I don't believe I'll fall into), and while that's not a lot, I don't want to have more thoughts and worries about how it might affect this one webring I joined anytime I update my website. I'd like to work on it in my own pace without any outside pressure – regardless of how small that pressure is. It isn't out of the question for me to join some webrings at a later date, but right now I'm not really feelin' it.

I kind of don't feel too proud of this response, but also kind of not not and I don't know why.

I was a bit hesitant replying before because I don't really know what to say (except "Greetings back" or something similar which doesn't really feel like a good enough response), but I'm curious about what would happen / how you would respond if I were to respond and that curiosity took over right now.

This really just put a smile on my face! It's just nice to hear and see that although it kind of conflicts with what I've written on the Start page about wanting to care less about other people's opinions through the use of uBlock Origin to block my view count, which kind of confuses and conflicts me. You're also the first page I've seen that included my button, which too makes me happy and conflicted for the aforementioned reason.

Nevertheless, thank you for your comment! I'm also kind of curious what you like about the way I have everything set up! I mostly like the structure of the site (if that's what you mean with "how everything is set up") as well since it feels kind of natural to me (maybe because it kind of organically grew as I expanded with what I wanted to write and share and publish), but it also has the problem of some pages fitting multiple sections that I still don't know how I should deal with.
