Remixes & Co. 2
A collection of one-off tracks that either don't belong to an album
It might seem weird that this has an own dedicated page while the first volume doesn't, but that's because there's less tracks and they're more fresh on my mind so it's easier to write about them. Plus the metadata of the tracks in the first volume is quite horrendous and I don't want to go through the effort of fixing up the metadata of around 50 tracks, so I just shove my problem into a closet and instead start with a fresh slate.
The tracks here are sorted after date of discovery, and if I've written the date down, it's visible as a footer in the hovercard of the track.

Tomodachi Collection - In the Room I originally discovered this track through it being used as the background music of kopawz's Neocities Site. -
02.
tv room - Say It Back Originally discovered through it being used in a user-made level for the game "Rhythm Doctor". Although I'm not really made for rhythm games, it's good music and I did something I rarely do - listen to other tracks of the artist
(well, those present on his YouTube channel. There's more on spotify, but I didn't bother that much listening to everyhing) . This brought me to find other tracks I like like "Attitash" or "Step on Bug" from "The Great State of Maine" or "Manifest! Manifest!".I'm still unsure if to make a collection album for songs from tv room or to keep all of the tracks here in Remixes & Co. 2.
As for the song itself, the refrain is the best thing there
(which doesn't seem that surprising) . I also keep imagining the tambourine charge thing from Rhythm Doctor in the refrain at 1:04. -
03.
tv room - Manifest! Manifest! I like the music video. I don't know if the visuals have some deeper meaning, but I like this image of a room full of little paintings. Also the rock with a face is quite a fun touch.

Esselfortium - memory=entryrrrr//// I was intrigued by myhouse.wad during this time, watching Pyrocynical's video & playthrough on it, and this music grew on me while watching Pyro's playthrough. It stays mostly in the background, but has some parts that keep catching my attention.
Especially 4:51 and then onward is just so soothing and was always nice to listen to when it came up again.

05.
Anthony Cannon - You've Been Trolled I came across this track when I randomly found a radio playing this track on a modded minecraft server. I don't entirely know why I added this to my music library, but it's here now.

06.
JEREMIAS - Goldmund A german song I came across when someone on Instagram shared this track in their story. I listened in on it and liked it. The chill late-night mood of the intro before the first verse to me is the best part, with the singing of the verses itself being the second-best parts. The refrain is nice when it doesn't feel repetitive after a few consecutive listens.

Sea of Stars - Encounter Elite! While the game "Sea of Stars" isn't much of my jam
(I tended to get overwhelmed with the amount of choices in combat and just generally feel constantly stressed about if I'm playing well or not - should I use this item now or save it for later? Is it smart to do this or that? How will that affect the next round, and the round after that? And what about the battles after? Are there save points there? Should I save something for the next fight?) , I played the demo and managed to enjoy it - with the thing standing out the most being the boss fight at the end with it's music.I like everything! The drums in the background; the old-timey piano at the beginning; the build-up to and the main part itself
(0:30) , and just generally each section feels varied and good on their own. -
08.
Surasshu - The Penis (Eek!) Purely here for it's silly title in conjunction with the light-hearted track itself. It makes me smile.
-
09.
cs127::3 - The Penis (Ahh!) A "remix" of the previous track where the "Eek!" is replaced with an "Ahh!". Just as fun and silly as the original.
-
10.
Flower Town - Garden Shed A track I discovered through it being used in the background of multiple of toastedcherry's YouTube videos. Light-hearted and good as background music for YouTube videos or websites, and similar to "Tomodachi Collection - In the Room" in this regard.

11.
Super Mario Maker 2 - SMB3 Snow (SMA4 Remix) A cover of the snow theme from the Super Mario Bros 3 theme in Super Mario Maker 2.

patrick99e99 & CocoNelly - The Cat Rap A remix of Dilemma sung by a guy and his cat. The refrains with the cats meowing are just fun to listen to and it has a pure feeling that fits the early internet/youtube. Discovered via the "Cat Coin" mod for The Binding of Isaac: Repenetance where part of this song plays when a dime drops.
