  1. Page Art: Single pages that are just one, elaborative art piece. Can experiment with interactivity (such as using time, scrolling, clicking or hovering to affect part of the artwork), animation (a pretty page with just fireworks) and audio (soundscape collage, or ambience and music that fits the artwork). Can go to the extreme by instead making entire art websites like Black Wings or i-land.
    • Cascading Rise: A zen garden-esque piece with fragmented land and cascading waterfalls floating over a background of scrolling clouds, along with the track "Cascades" from "Hyper Light Drifter". Meant as a dedicated place to return to when in turmoil or depression.
  2. Meme Templates: A page with a bunch of meme templates (potentially redundant with pages like Know Your Meme existing that already sometimes have templates for use)
    • Alternatively just a page where you can share your favorite memes?
      • "Welcome to the chatroom!": Funny chat logs I have seen whilst lurking in various chatrooms online.
  3. Hypnospace Page: A page in the style of a "Hypnospace Outlaw" website (I remember a personal website that emulated the style pretty well down to the link hover effects, and believe I even linked to it in the past, but the link got lost again for some reason...).
  4. Subway Page: A Links-esque page styled like a subway map (or like a webring/website dictionary whose whole purpose it is to map out websites on a subway map with multiple lines and stuff).
    • Smallweb Subway is a webring that does this! The idea that every line is a webring that loops around in a circle is a pretty cool idea.
  5. Pixel City: A page that's like a mix between "the car carpet everyone had as a kid" and "pixelart". I got this idea solely from stumbling onto caz.pausedlife.com and their homepage, and the idea of having an entire page or section in that style where each building would link to a subsection would be amazing!
  6. Site Structure Visualization: A page that demonstrates/visualizes the scale and structure of the website (Domino? A Filelight graphic?).
  7. Current Time: A visual calender type of thing to visualize how far you're in the week/month/year.
  8. Horror Creative Writing Section: Making my own SPC-type anomalies and displaying them in a section of the website (17th Mar, 2023).
  9. iFAQ for Website creation: e.g. Why do some webpages use an [at] instead of @ when presenting their contact info?
  10. Quotes Page: Advice that stuck to me (and quotes and the similar).
  11. Custom Themes
    • Sky mega-theme: A sky with clouds calmly floating by. Could be enhanced via time-adaptive day-night cycling and potentially different weathers such as cloudy, fog, rain or storm. (Reminds me of YoWindow).
  12. Website ID Card: Having like a citizen card but for a website. Custom styling, stats. With fancy effects like hovering over the page with drop shadows (or being 3D and rotating as you mouse over). Could have a backside with even more info.
    • Website Pokémon Card: Alternatively just letting every website have like a collectible card with (semi?)-standardized formatting that anyone can just collect for their own collection.
  13. Emotion/Mood Pages: Pages that you can visit whenever you feel a certain way. The most common type of page I see are for when you feel down and need a calm place to reflect (e.g. xandra's zen garden or softheartclinic's blanket fort). It can include fitting visuals, audio and resources to help process your feelings (like this interactive self-care flow chart) and generally improve your mood.
    • I can well imagine such a page for feelings like: Needing deep focus to work on a difficult task
  14. Passing Inspiration: Having a page that randomly displays a quote or some other thing you want to be regularly reminded of out of a premade selection of them. This would be most effective on pages you pass by regularly, such as this site's start page or your browser homepage.
    • This is a variant of the idea of having such quotes or concepts included as cards in e.g. Mnemosyne so you'll get reminded of them during your daily reviews.
  15. Custom Startpage: By setting up your browser to open a local .html file whenever you open a new tab, you can essentially create your own startpages.
      Things to put on it:
      • Navigation utilities (Quick links / bookmarks to commonly visited pages, a search bar)
      • A widget that displays a random quote/idea you want to keep in mind.
      • Some way to track the progress through the week/month/year
        • Your own Tikker (R.I.P.) reminding you to not waste any time
      • Time- or weather-based styling (dynamic background? color scheme?)
      • Some way to take a chill break, like having a mode where you'll fullscreen to a nice landscape whilst listening to rain ambience or something.
      • Small, commonly used functionality like a simple JavaScript timer
      • Having a page like my Terminal Page with your own commands could be quite fun! (turns out someone already did this! :D)
      • Having a mental Hub you can pull up on your phone whenever you feel lost, drifting, stressed or worried; with tools, links to helpful resources and prompts/questions to help you calm down and focus (similar to Idea 13 – Emotion/Mood Pages).
  16. Exploration Progress Page: An idea I had where you had a page similar to a sitemap that's just a grid of cards, with each card representing another page on your website. As you explore the site, more and more cards in this exploration page become visibly marked in some way (e.g. cards you haven't explored are muted in color or greyed-out whilst those you've seen are full-color) so you can see how many pages you have explored in total and how much there still is to discover.
    • Could also include a progress bar or other fun stats such as time spent on the site in total, or the time spent on each singular page on a page's card (and then like a top 10 lists of pages you spent the most spent time on), although this quickly escalates into the territory of "lots of work for very little value". Still fun to think about!
    • One cool way to visualize it could also be by having a draggable, hand-drawn 2D map where every card is a point of interest on that map, with paths connecting common ways (e.g. Meta -> About me)
    • Another idea is to have hidden pages whose cards only get visible once you found them.
